Selected Engagements

The following engagements illustrate how I help organizations and project teams understand complex systems, uncover how policies and environments shape lived experience, and translate those insights into strategies that improve outcomes for communities.

Regional Recovery & Workforce Systems Evaluation

Led a cross-sector evaluation for a provincial government initiative examining tourism and workforce recovery following COVID-19. By integrating community and industry data, the evaluation helped leadership identify leverage points where workforce policies, housing, and transportation influenced economic recovery. Findings informed policy decisions and provided a foundation for cross-department collaboration.

Values Alignment & Organizational Systems Diagnostic

Developed a diagnostic to help leadership teams translate institutional values into operational systems. Frontline staff, managers, and boards collaborated to clarify program outcomes, align evaluation and data practices, and strengthen long-term funding sustainability. The project produced logic models, evaluation frameworks, and reporting structures that supported more coherent decision-making and organizational learning.

Impact Evaluation & Program Architecture for Community Initiative

A multi-year community program sought to understand long-term impact but lacked defined outcomes. I worked with staff and managers to collectively define outcomes, redesign evaluation tools, and restructure data systems. Coordinating an in-depth evaluation revealed previously unrecognized impacts, aligned staff insight with strategy, and enabled leadership to secure a 25% funding increase, expand services, and refine program design.

Economic Mobility & Childcare Systems Research Pilot

Led a three-year research initiative examining how childcare access influences the economic advancement of immigrant women. The project convened employers, childcare providers, and working mothers to explore structural barriers shaping workforce participation. Findings revealed that advancement depended not only on childcare availability, but also on workplace flexibility, affordability, cultural dynamics, and urban infrastructure constraints. Insights informed program design and offered recommendations relevant to urban planning, including affordable housing placement, transportation access, and strategies to reduce neighbourhood isolation.
